A few years later in early 1990, Hans decided to move to Hong Kong. Here he was involved in one of the largest service contracts in Asia. The government of Malaysia decided to privatize all non-medical services for all Ministry of Health hospitals in Malaysia. Medlux Malaysia Sdn Bhd formed a joint venture with Faber Group Bhd, and in 1994 it was awarded 60% of the project (15+15 years). Hans sold his shares in the project to a Bahrain registered company. Moving ahead , Until 2006, Hans was involved in a few biofuel projects in Malaysia and Sweden, then he returned to the Middle East to buy out the Electrolux FM business. Although he had set aside his plans for the biofuel business, he is now continuing working on it as a hobby.
